VERETX IT Service is looking for experienced candidates, to apply for the Position of Wireless Architect, who will be primarily responsible for working on system level design, helping to develop what the system looks like, its models, and the interface between the models. You'll work in conjunction with engineers developing wireless access technologies and network management and automation software that makes it easier and quicker to deploy telecom networks. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in cellular radio technology, including experience in the wireless network management field and constantly stays abreast of developments in the telecom domain. Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado, USA, 80111(must be onsite) preferred. Contract Duration: 6 Month with option to extend.
Responsibilities:
Develop written technical contributions in 3GPP RAN4.
Present these technical contributions and work with other 3GPP standards members to reach consensus agreements
Review, analyze other 3GPP member’s contributions and defend Company’s position during standards meetings
Create a pre and post meeting reports to identify and summarize Company’s interests and possible concerns requiring actions.
Design, Development and Implementation experience in 3G/LTE/5G Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3, Layer4 protocols
Conduct interference/ RF impairment analysis to validate co-existence scenarios against spectrum holdings
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: BE/BTech/MTech/MS/MCA: Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Other similar US degrees
At least 5+ years of field experience working with cellular radio technologies; specifically, 3GPP LTE/UTRA physical layers and of LTE and NR features
Experience in standardization working groups, preferable 3GPP RAN4
In-depth knowledge on wireless communication theory, systems and signal processing algorithms (OFDM)
Experience in modeling and quantifying RF/PHY metrics such as ACLR, ACS, EVM, SEM, and phase noise effects
A good understanding of FCC rules and spectrum policies
Be able to interface with remote teams and have flexibility for extensive travel
Required Experience:
Simulation experience in physical layer or system layer aspects in MATLAB and/or NS, and/or Python
Capable of running C/C simulations to perform link margin analysis
