Job Description
Senior Software Engineer
As part of the VIP Development Support and Tools group, you will be responsible for development, implementation, maintenance, and support for tools and automation. Our team supports the authorization system area, which includes developers, test engineers, and many other teams. You will be responsible for the source code repository and software configuration application for the authorization system team. Through this position, you will gain experience collaborating with various parts of the business in understanding requirements for system enhancements, identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes to tools or processes. The tools that you oversee will be of the highest quality meeting all requirements within the scheduled timeframe.
We are looking for a software engineer with 3-5 years of software development and design experience. Experience in Java and Linux is required. Javascript and C working knowledge is preferred. Must have experience supporting, leading, and training in software management use with little or no direction. This would include all aspects such as logical/physical design, defining, implementing, monitoring, reporting, and utilities. No matter the challenge, you know you can find a solution and encourage others to think the same. You recognize when to ask for help and when to collaborate with others, working across departments and influencing in areas beyond immediate control.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours. This position requires the incumbent to travel for work less than 10% of the time.
