Job Description

This intern role is on the DPS Prepaid/Host Processing Product team within the Visa DPS Product organization. Visa DPS is Visa’s in-house issuer-processor and is the largest processor of Visa transactions globally. The DPS Prepaid/Host Processing Product team has responsibility for a set of modern card-issuing capabilities that can be deployed to support a wide variety of card programs in traditional and emerging segments. We work with some of the biggest banks and most innovative fintech players in North America and provide capabilities ranging from an account ledger system to consumer-facing applications used by millions of consumers.

You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionality to support the development, commercialization, and ongoing support of new and existing product features. This position will also focus on developing analytics dashboards which will be used to track ongoing product performance. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a passion for innovation, a willingness to learn, and excitement to solve challenging problems by collaborating across functions.

Essential Functions

  • Help develop and commercialize innovative product features for traditional card issuers and fintech players
  • Develop analytics dashboards which can be used to track ongoing product performance
  • Contribute to ongoing product roadmap and enhancement planning discussions
  • Work collaboratively with Technology, Marketing, Account Management, Sales, and other Visa Product teams
  • Support the team with ad hoc analysis
  • Learn about Visa DPS products and services

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Communications,Information Systems, Engineeringor a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent scale)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in use of spreadsheet and presentation tools
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn from co-workers
  • An interest in payments technology and its future
  • Highly driven and resourceful
  • Project management experience with excellent attention to detail

· Self-starter who can work independently

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor

Additional Information

Work Authorization

  • This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours.
