Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Software Delivery Manager to implement back-end software solutions to serve both internal and external customers. The position entails leading multiple agile development teams within our Order Management (COM/SOM) team to develop Catalog-drive Java based projects in a cloud-native environment. You will interface with other teams within the organization to develop complete systems to better our customers' experiences.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead a development team to design, implement, and test back-end solutions to support the delivery of customer services
Managing all stakeholders (Product Management, Executive Leadership, Architects, UX) by understanding their unique needs in order to meet them
Manage individual and team performance through the establishment and communication of SMART objectives
Interface with other development leaders as needed to resolve dependencies
Drive an Agile mindset through the delivery team
Skills, Experience and Requirements
A successful Delivery Manager will have the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience; Master's Degree preferred;
8+ years of progressive experience leading application development;
Inspirational and clear communication skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate team to deliver beyond expectations
Experience driving software outcomes with a globally dispersed organization
Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals; including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
