You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.We are seeking a Functional Lead for the Electrical Engineering discipline at SNC IAS. In this role, you will have the ability to chart the course for Electrical Engineering here at the IAS business area via people, processes, tools, and training as well as influence high-level decisions for the betterment of Electrical Engineering. People: Support the Electrical Engineering group as a whole through mentorship, talent calibration, hiring, program reviews, and communication. In essence, taking care of the Electrical Engineers at IAS and ensuring that standards are upheld.

Processes: Establish/Manage the process for how Electrical Engineering is conducted at IAS; Including template creation/managment, drawing standards, etc.

Tools: Chart the course for current and future tool implementation at IAS. To include model-based definition, 3D wire routing, etc.

Training: Develop and administer training for new-hires onboarding in Electrical Engineering at IAS.

Must-haves:

Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience

Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools

Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams

Knowledge of industry standard Electrical Engineering drawing principles and practices (ASME Y.14, DRM, IEEE 315)

Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis

Preferred:

Experience leading teams of Electrical Engineers

Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis

Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

Knowledge of model-based definition

Knowledge of MIL-STD-31000 Technical Data Package requirments

Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture

Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools
