Maxar is currently seeking an Aerospace Engineer for Radiometry to join our team in Longmont, CO.

Your Project: The Remote Sensing Sciences (RSS) team performs calibration and commissioning of new Maxar space imaging platforms while maintaining the accuracy and performance of the existing on-orbit constellation. In this new position, you will be responsible for operations, calibration and development activities within an existing RSS team, with emphasis on Radiometric calibration. As an ideal candidate, you must have the ability to grow in subject matter expertise over the span of several years through on-the-job training and experience. You will work help in the work of daily activities and automate RSS cloud-enabled services while improving the underlying functionality of the service / scientific core. You will work with Maxar Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and commission new imaging sensors while maintaining and improving the current Maxar space imaging constellation and RSS cloud-enabled services.
