Field Manager reports to the General Manager
Requirements: Hold a current drivers license and have a clear driving record.
Responsibilities are not limited to the duties listed below and can be adjusted by P3F at any time and at their discretion.
Manage fields assigned by the GM and the specific employees necessary to complete the following tasks.
General Duties
-Work with GM and Director of Farming Operations to ensure correct number of employees are ready when needed
-Coordinate schedules of all employees P3F staff and employment services personnel with GM and Director of Farming Operations
-Arrange employee transportation to/from fields
-Transport sanitation unit(s) to/from fields
-Facilitate filling drink coolers and availability of cups
-Track attendance and time of all employees; report daily to GM and HR
-Train all employees in tasks depending on the each season
-Supervise all employees to ensure they are doing their jobs correctly
-Work with GM to discipline employees when necessary and appropriate
-First line of response for accident/injury
Facilities Maintenance
-Maintain various facilities located in Center
-Clean and maintain supply levels at those facilities
Planting
-Assist GM in training all employees
-Planter sitters
-Behind planter walkers
-Replenishing crew
-Growing season
-Assist GM and Director of Farming Operations in continual observation of field soil and plant health
-Weeding and Removing male plants
Harvesting
-Processing Facility
-Assist GM if/when needed at Center of Excellence facility
-Other duties TBD once the facility is completed
-Equipment maintenance year around
-Assist GM in maintenance of P3F owned equipment
-Planters, cultivators, combines, trucks
-Daily inspection and maintenance during planting and harvesting
-Forklift, skid steer
