Job Description: Counter Sales/ Kwik Call Associate (PUE)

Reports to: Counter Lead, Branch Manager
Position Summary: Responsible for analyzing customer requests, providing product advise, and creating counter sales orders as well as actively monitoring the order manager to process Kwik Call utilizing the highest level of customer service while actively seeking to improve processes, increase efficiency, and maintain a safe working environment
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 0700-1700+ (Rotating 0600-morning show), Rotational Saturday
Responsibilities & Duties:
Primary:
Promptly and professionally process counter orders by:
o Providing product knowledge and technical advice on the appropriate application of products and solutions
o Write orders then prepare order for customer by picking and shipping product
o Collect payment for product by either collecting cash or check, charging a credit card, or charging the customers account
o Coordinate product delivery if requested by customer
Request additional assistance at the counter as customer volume requires to ensure customers are not waiting to be helped
Actively monitor the order manager to drop, pick, pack, and stage Kwik Call orders as timely as possible
Operate in accordance with Ramparts established systems, policies and procedures
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by complying with Ramparts safety program
Answer customer phone calls when requested via page
As Required:
Troubleshoot issues and communicate discrepancies to inventory control
Monitor ageing Kwik Call orders and return product to inventory after two weeks
Maintain currency on product and technical knowledge as well as current construction trends
Curiously handle customer returns
Conduct replenishments as time allows
Provide charge account setup documentation to customers
Conduct deliveries as requested by the Branch Manager
Pick, pack, and stage delivery orders
Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

Physical Requirements:
Continuously (67-100% of the day) will be required to talk, repetitively use hands, arms, and legs, stand, walk, grasp, and lift 10lbs or less
Frequently (34-66% of the day) will be required to bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, push or pull, carry or move 10lbs or less, and carry, move, or lift 11-75lbs
Occasionally (1-33% of the day) will be required to sit, crawl, balance, climb and carry, move, or lift 76-100+ lbs
