RESIDENTIAL SOLAR INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
We are a Colorado Springs based mechanical and solar contractor who has been in business for 19 years. We are looking for aspiring trades men and women who desire to become a Solar Installation Technician.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for an entry level position in the solar industry. If you are driven and motivated to power homes with clean and efficient solar this is a great place to work. You must be capable of working on ladders and on roof tops of residential homes and have basic hand tools.
If a skilled trade is in your future and you are interested in becoming a true craftsman your duties will entail:
Working as a team member of a solar installation crew
Taking direction from the lead installation tech
Lifting and carrying heavy objects up and down ladders
Working in all weather and temperature conditions
Sometimes cross training with other departments
In order for your success we ask you to:
- Have a passion for renewable energy
- Must have basic hand tools including a battery-operated drill and impact driver.
- Must be capable of climbing ladders and working on roofs
- Be reliable, self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic
- Have a clean driving record and no felonies
- Pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test

We are a mostly residential mechanical contracting company that specializes in high efficient mechanical systems and renewable energy. We have been in business since 2000 and have an office in Colorado Springs and Salida, CO. Owner David works on a philosophy of finding the "best way" to complete a task. Bestway Mechanical works with new construction contractors and homeowners on new installation solar electricity (PV), solar hot water, geothermal, radiant heat, and plumbing. Project Manager Brian has been with Bestway since 2000 and works closely with renewable energy customers and our installation technicians. Over the past 19 years in business we have carefully selected manufactures that offer a great product and great value to the end user. We have partnered with SunPower for our solar electricity, Apricus for our solar hot water, HTP for our boilers, and LG for our mechanical systems.
