Job Responsibilities:
1. 20% -Responsible (in conjunction with the GM) as primary contact for homeowners with full authorization and responsibility for ongoing management and maintenance of the owners' rental agreement, including review/approval of monthly owners' statements. Responsibilities include direct communication with owners through a variety of methods including in-person meetings, telephone conversations, electronic messaging, mailing, etc.
2. 20% - Responsible (in conjunction with the GM) for overall quality control of rental unit conditions including conducting frequent unit inspections for cleanliness, general repair, amenities, etc., as well as overall unit condition. Responsible for communicating overall unit conditions with homeowners and immediate Manager on a regular basis as determined by Manager.
3. 20% - Responsible (in conjunction with the GM) for ensuring efficient operations of multiple operations functions (i.e. Owner Relations, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc.) at the respective property/location, by developing, implementing and refining standard operating procedures, and ensuring procedures are properly executed. Expected to perform any/all operational functions at the location/property as necessary to ensure outstanding guest services and homeowner satisfaction.
4. 20% - Manages, coordinates, dispatches and oversees outside professional services/vendors (i.e. housekeeping, maintenance, etc.), including communication of expectations to vendors and inspection of vendor services, as well as authorization of payment to vendor(s) for services performed. Provide regular feedback to immediate Manager on vendors' performance.
5. 20% -Establish and maintain positive relationships with Homeowners and Guests with authority, with responsibility for ensuring complete satisfaction with WVR services. Resolves issues in all areas of operations in a positive, professional and timely manner - Count on Me!
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Lead, manage, and/or participate in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, performance planning and evaluation of operations personnel (i.e. guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.).
2. Participate in approval and submission of payroll data, administrative and support functions of the operation as required.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
1. Education - HS Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred and/or equivalent related experience in vacation rental and/or hospitality operations.
2. Knowledge and skills - Understanding of the vacation rental industry, or similar hospitality like operations. Basic financial reporting understanding, HOA governance.
3. Technical Skills - Microsoft. Ability to learn in-house software platforms.
4. Job experience - Minimum 3 years' experience in vacation rental, hospitality operations or similar relevant experience; minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
