Vela Apparel is looking for someone to become our store and office manager. This includes running our retail shop, our ecommerce sites, helping with events, assisting in B2B sales, and taking on business administration duties. It is a great opportunity to learn new skills and grow into new roles depending on skill sets and interests. Specific job requirements include:
Opening and closing our retail store and serving as our head sales associate.
Fulfilling online orders.
Managing inventory, receiving new product, assembling wholesale orders, invoicing.
Setting up and running our Vail Farmer's Market booth on Sundays.
Other duties such as marketing, social media, purveying, event planning, website management, and others could be considered depending on interest and experience.
We are looking for someone who is motivated to learn in a rapidly growing business, and is flexible and can adapt to new challenges. Ideally, the person filling this position is motivated to grow into new responsibilities and take on bigger roles in the company's future. A wide range of experiences and interests is a huge plus, but no specific experience is necessary. One thing we do require from this position is that the applicant see themselves as adventurous, curious, optimistic, and capable of handling new experiences daily.

We make clothing, fashion accessories, and home goods that bring adventurous moments to everyday life. Co-founder Elise Holmes creates and designs all of our products.
