Hooked is looking for an experienced Manager to take on the role of General Manager. The general manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the restaurant. These duties will include the following:
1.) Customer service satisfaction: Ensure every guest is getting the best service from the time they make their reservation until the time they walk out of the restaurant. Follow up with guests when they are dining with us, problem solve any issues that may arise, create a connection with our repeat guests
2.) Manage the flow of the restaurant with the Open Table system to ensure Maximum seating potential while balancing the stress on the kitchen staff.
3.) Hire, Train, and Manage the front of the house staff. Ensure proper staffing for all shifts is achieved. If staffing falls below adequate levels, be ready to jump in as needed.
4.) Ensure equipment and supplies are always up to par. If there are any issues in the restaurant that require repairs reach out to owner immediately to get problem resolved quickly. If there are things that are needed, keep an open line of communication with ownership to ensure a smoothly running restaurant.
5.) Be adaptable to a quickly changing environment. COVID has put a lot of stress on the restaurant business to maximize earning potential. This may mean rolling with the punches as policies and procedures change.
6.) Be a problem solver, not just an identifier of problems. If you notice issues or items that need to be done better, don't just announce the problem, come up with solutions. We will all work as a team to accomplish the task.
