Line cooks needed for Larkspurs upcoming winter and summer seasons. Full time, part time, and seasonal available. This is an opportunity to work in one of Vail’s iconic restaurants that has been serving the valley for 20 years. We are a privately owned restaurant located at the base of Golden Peak offering slope side dining. Larkspur Events and Dining is open to the general public five months a year for lunch and après. During the summer we are closed to the public for private events/weddings only. We are seeking talented and dynamic cooks to join our core team year round. This position offers the ultimate work life balance if you want two months off a year to rest, recharge and travel! During the off season and summer you will get a break from the service grind and participate in maintenance for the restaurant, enjoying a family meal on our patio in the sun, menu development with the chefs, then spend a couple days prepping for a 250 person wedding, executing a 3 hour service, cleaning up and getting home by 9-10 o’clock! For most of the year you will only be working an 8 hour shift often 9am-5pm! That being said, during peak periods we expect line cooks to be willing and able to work longer hours in high stress situations. Want time to Ski in the winter? No problem, we offer a flexible schedule to make sure you get those turns in on a regular basis. Want to grow into management and join the chef team? Opportunities for advancement are available!
