We are looking for a Restaurant Manager at our newly renovated location in Beaver Creek. Hooked is a very busy restaurant, serving the freshest seafood in the Rocky Mountains.

The Primary Duties of the Manager will include overseeing the front of the house operations at Hooked which include but are not limited to the following:

Supervise staff to make sure they are properly prepared for an upcoming shift and provide them with the tools they need to perform well; menu terminology, 86 list, special group needs, etc.

Supervise staff during a shift to ensure a high level of customer service. Ensure staff is following proper steps of service. Touch tables and talk to guests to gauge the overall guest experience.

Train all front of house staff on menu knowledge and steps of service. If new staff is struggling with training, personally assist them and asses their role. Identify if they may be more suited for a different position.

Ensure a smooth flow and consistent service throughout the shift by actively Managing the Open Table Reservations. Give guidance to the host/hostess on how to control the door.

Manage any issues regarding food delivery and guest satisfaction. Work with the kitchen staff to resolve any issues quickly and seamlessly.

Perform daily closeouts and deposits

Maintain a level head when dealing with high-stress situations.

As part of the management team, the Manager will help ensure consistent customer service and help outline proper training methods to ensure new staff is prepared. The Manager will be comfortable stepping into any Front of the House position if necessary.

Secondary duties of the Manager will include Assisting the Sommelier. These duties will include:

Familiarizing oneself with the wine list and actively selling wine on the floor while in service

Assisting the Sommelier with Wine inventory maintenance.

Prefer a candidate with their Introductory Sommelier Certification or interested in pursuing further education in wine.

Education/Experience

Prefer 2 years of restaurant management experience but willing to train a long time server looking to make a career move

Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

High School diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 21 years of age

TIPS certification helpful

Flexible schedule and ability to work mornings, holidays, and weekends
