The Human Resources Manager is a "hands on" role that will provide significant support in the areas of employee relations, performance and talent management, coaching and the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

This position reports to the Director of Human Resources, Wyndham Vacation Rentals, and will partner with the local Operation Leaders to provide guidance and direction in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization.

Responsibilties will inckude, but not be limited to:

1. Guides management, supervisory staff and associates in performance management, problem solving, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance. Supports leaders in development of counseling/corrective action documentation and assists leaders with delivery/discussion of performance counseling and/or corrective behavior discussions with associates.

2. Conducts confidential investigations in response to complaints, concerns, compliance hotline calls, etc., including thorough documentation of findings and resulting recommendations.

3. Perform on-site audits at resorts and/or business unit locations to ensure appropriate record keeping, procedural compliance, current labor postings, etc.

4. Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

5. Works with Recruiting to support staffing/recruitment

6. Ensures successful on-boarding of candidates

7. Supports/coordinates training efforts in partnership with Director of Human Resources, company initiatives, changes in procedures, etc.

8. Assess and identify employee and leadership developmental and training needs. Recommend and deliver diversity, policies and procedures, employment law and leadership training as needed. Coordinate and lead key management development and project initiatives that respond to current and projected organizational needs.

9. Consistently monitor market/competition to ensure that WVR is comparable in the market to other employers in regards to benefits, compensation and other factors of importance.

10. Support the development and or implementation of organization-wide projects and programs.

11. Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Four-year college degree with major or emphasis in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or Communications strongly preferred.

Professional Designation in Human Resources (PHR) preferred

Must have minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible, hands on HR experience in all HR functions (compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, leadership development, legislation and compliance issues, HRIS).

Must have minimum of 2 years of experience conducting confidential investigations that included thorough documentation of findings and resulting recommendations.
