Job Description:
This is a skilled position that will coordinate the sale, scheduling, and delivery of concrete products. Will also assure that the correct products are delivered on-time, meeting customer specifications and in a cost effective manner.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, other employees, and drivers.
Provide world-class customer service.
Receive order information via telephone, fax and e-mail as required and accurately enter it into computer system.
Familiarity with the area is required to assist drivers in finding jobsites.
Must be able to determine travel time to jobs and best plant location scenarios.
Must learn and understand complex mix code designs, admixtures, and additional charges and their proper applications.
Able and willing to work overtime and varying shifts including early mornings, late afternoons, and Saturdays.
Must understand trucking routes and how they relate to keeping plant locations supplied with cement powder.
Must be familiar with DOT rules and regulations.
