GENERAL SUMMARY:
You are the face of our business and will be responsible for ensuring every customer is given the time and attention needed to select our best cannabis strain or product for their experience. Budtenders are required to see to it that business operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as with state regulatory standards at all time. This position reports to the Manager of the dispensary.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Makes eye contact, smiles, and promptly acknowledges/greets each guest waiting in the lobby and entering the dispensary.
Offers friendly, knowledgeable and courteous service. Understands that customer service is the top priority and ceases performing tasks when customers are present and in need of assistance.
Determines each customer's need and answers questions concerning strains or products. If necessary, partners with management to ensure the customer's experience is met.
While serving customers, recommends additional and complementary products and/or strains based on information provided by the customer or items already selected for purchase.
Informs customers of current promotions and events while in the store.
Contributes to the dispensary's overall goals and meets or exceeds individual goals.
Helps to eliminate and/or reduce potential theft of product by providing exceptional guest service and maintaining awareness while on the sales floor.
Courteously handles sales. Ensures that the correct price, product, tax and/or discount are applied correctly to each sale.
Ensures all resets and planograms are executed as directed.
Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events. In between serving customers, ensures the store is replenished throughout the day, arranges merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events to company standards on shelves.
Answers phone with appropriate greeting and handles customer call.
Participates in physical inventory preparation, execution and follow-up.
Executes other operational tasks as directed by management.
Responsible for overall store cleanliness including restrooms, cashwrap, backroom and sales floor.
Takes the initiative to stay informed regarding new or existing products is knowledgeable about their ingredients and benefits to better serve guests.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
21 years of age or older
KEY BADGE REQUIRED
1 year retail, restaurant or service experience preferred
High school diploma, 1-year relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Demonstrates a passion for customer service and a competency for selling.
Ability to troubleshoot.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Open Availability including: nights, weekends & all holidays
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Continuous mobility throughout the dispensary daily
Lift and move up to 50 lbs, multiple times, daily
Stoop, kneel and crouch daily
Stand for extended periods of time; 8-12 hours
