Corona Environmental Consulting, LLC, bridges the gap between academia and traditional drinking water consulting engineering.As a member of our team in Louisville, CO, you will work with us to deliver water quality- and treatment-related projectsaddressing:
Groundwater quality issues including: nitrate, 1,2,3-trichloropropane, PFAS, hexavalent chromium, and arsenic
Surface water quality issues including: disinfection byproducts precursors, microbial contaminants, taste and odor compounds, and cyanotoxins
Distribution system water issues including: disinfection, disinfection byproducts, nitrification, and lead and copper control
Drinking water policy assessments and needs
Study, plan, and optimize water treatment and distribution system facilities
Analyze and interpret production and water quality data
Support field testing of water treatment processes at bench-, pilot-, and demonstration-scale
Support bench-scale laboratory testing in Louisville, CO
Model drinking water treatment processes
Prepare engineering test plans, reports, and client presentations
Participate in facility startup, operator training, and process and equipment troubleshooting
Prepare facility permitting documents for water treatment and distribution facilities
Evaluate water treatment and distribution system operations
Prepare life cycle cost estimates for water treatment facilities
Travel for project needs
Master’s degree, or BS and a minimum of two years professional experience, in Environmental Engineering or related field required;EI preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Self-motivation with a desire to be challenged
Ability to work well as a team member or individually
Willingness to take initiative and assume responsibility
Willingness to travel for project needs and to support client interactions
Preferred Attributes
Data analysis experience with R, Python, and/or SQL
Drafting experience with CAD
Mapping experience with GIS
Experience with hydraulics and hydraulic modeling
