Marketing Director – Master of Demand Creation

Marketing for impact! We’re looking for an innovative, strategic, and resourceful marketing lead who can drive demand, generate qualified leads and position our CEO in the market as a thought leader – and that’s just the first 60 days. Honcho helps protect employees and companies by detecting and preventing damaging communications from ever happening in the first place. www.honcho.works. To pull this off you will need to be an accomplished demand generator with a proven ability to drive qualified leads using our website, PR, events, content and whatever else you can imagine. We’re into measuring ROI on every marketing investment and you’ll be responsible for building a data measurement platform to prove value and impact. At this point, we don’t know what the right mix of marketing effort is and we’re counting on you to figure that out and drive results. You’ll be working with an experienced innovative team, awesome technology, and really fantastic people while launching a much-needed solution that will be used broadly in the marketplace.

When you start, you will be the entire marketing team (with the ability to pull in outside resources). You’ll have a budget, an internet connection, your computer and 100% freedom to structure your time, create the strategy, and execute. We are a virtual company – not a lot of meetings, high trust, and high expectations. Great if you’re in Denver, but you can literally do this job from anywhere.

We run the company on the EOS framework, which means post-hire we'll agree upon a 1-yr plan and 90-day goals based on our long-term goals. We'll also agree upon KPI's which will be the foundation of weekly reporting, and set out times to review these quarterly.

Below is what we think your immediate to-do list looks like. That said, we are open to the best ideas, not just our ideas!

  • Develop the marketing launch plan for Honcho’s new platform (Q2 2021).

  • Manage and execute against your marketing budget to establish a scalable marketing strategy including both digital, PR, media and other marketing vehicles within the first 4 months.

  • Establish our CEO as a thought leader within the industry. He’s articulate, passionate and visionary all he needs is the right opportunities and platforms to drive our message to the right audiences.

  • Redesign the website and all marketing materials driving a minimum of 150 qualified leads (with a 30% conversation ratio) in the first 4months. Then you’ll scale this!

  • Update all messaging and sales collateral.

  • Build a data rich marketing support platform which collects the data needed to measure ROI and focus marketing.

Requirements

  • Previous start up experience is a plus

  • Experience marketing a B2B SAAS / enterprise software product

  • Excellent listener

  • Clear & simple communicator, both written & verbal

  • Excellent in a Remote Work Setting (judged solely by their body of work, self-driven, holds themselves accountable)

  • Tools: Monday.com, Asana, hubspot, TBD
