The Retail Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for inventory administration, product delivery, store set up, invoice processing and reconciliation. Previous experience in warehouse, accounting or similar preferred. Must be self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented. Must ski/ride at an intermediate level and have a valid driver’s license.

Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed tools or equipment used, etc.:

  • Assists Warehouse Manager with retail inventory administration, product delivery, store set up and end of season inventory
  • Assists Warehouse Manager with invoice processing & reconciliation
  • Act as MOD when Warehouse Manager is absent
  • Most of duties involve work with RTP, Apropos, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Web store fulfillment and Coupa
  • Warehouse operations include PO coordination; inventory receiving, processing, adjustment and distribution to store locations
  • Other duties include web orders, warranty returns, weekly inventory cycle counts, negative on-hand reports, vendor contact and POS training
  • Must be flexible with scheduling and be willing to cover shifts in retail stores when needed
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Other duties, as assigned

Minimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job:

  • Minimum 12 months retail warehouse/shipping/receiving, accounting (inventory), or similar experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills required
  • Experience with the RTP and Apropos preferred
  • Efficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
  • Prior experience in reading invoices and data entry preferred
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift at least 30 lbs - 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Must push hand truck load of similar size in all weather conditions
  • Read, write and communicate clearly in English
  • Must ski/ride at an intermediate level to on-mountain locations & pass a proficiency test
  • Must operate computer, keyboards, and phone regularly
  • Stand or sit for extended periods of time and move efficiently from one retail area to another
  • Must have a valid drivers license, and pass validation of Alterra Driving Standards Policy (must drive company truck and forklift)

Miscellaneous information:

  • This is a hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay
  • Position required to work weekends and holidays as needed

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Steamboat area base hourly pay range: $14.50 - $21.00 per hour
