Follows Executive Chef's assignments for receiving and delivering packages, food, beverage, and other products throughout the venue in a timely manner
Shows flexibility in rotating assignments
Help keep assigned areas clean and organized
Assist in receiving and storing all deliveries
Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and dock area including the trash receptacles
Inspect product for deficiencies and take appropriate corrective action
Assist with moving any equipment as required for conference center events
General housekeeping and cleaning as needed around the loading dock area
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Hotel experience preferred.
Must have full knowledge of food, beverage, general and printing products and purchasing procedures.
Basic mathematical and computer skills to order items and track deliveries.
Ability to apply basic supervisory skills to plan, organize, direct, coach, train and discipline associates, as necessary.
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
