The Male Attendant is a full-time position with excellent benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, vacation, paid leave, 401k, family pool pass and other great on property discounts.
The Female Attendant is part-time and receives a pool pass and other great on property discount.
Spa Attendant shifts may be between the hours of 7:30am- 9:30pm.
Must be available to work varied shifts including weekends.
Shifts may change based on business needs.
The Spa Attendant is responsible for the housekeeping of the locker room areas, restocking of supplies, restocking of towels and linens. The job requires the knowledgeable of all aspects of the Spa treatments and be able to answer questions. The attendant will assist in the administering of bath treatments in the hydrotherapy tubs. The job requires assisting service providers if needed, and be able to answer the phones and operate spa scheduling software.
Primary Function
Build guest loyalty.
Smile, acknowledge, assist and greet guests with a genuine smile over the phone and in person.
Maintain the housekeeping of the locker room areas.
Assist in mineral bath treatments.
Assure towels, robes and linens are stocked.
Actively promote and up-sell treatments.
Interface effectively with Spa Receptionists, treatment providers, and other staff throughout the resort property.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Exceptional guest service skills
Ability to sell and cross sell to enhance the guest experience is required.
Position requires standing and walking; must be able to stand exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment on a regular basis. Some weighing up to 75 lbs.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Attention to detail and organization, excellent teamwork, integrity, cheerful, welcoming, warm attitude and demeanor.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, read and give instructions.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, weekends, evenings and holidays.
