Rocky Mountain Youth Corps is currently hiring for our Fall 2019 season. Paid positions available in Taos and Albuquerque for both camping and day crews, starting in late August / early September. Applicants must be between 18-25 years old.
Joining a crew can be an amazing, life-changing experience! It is an opportunity to serve in beautiful places doing important work that benefits local communities. During the course of their season, RMYC crew members gain new skills and connect with a variety of passionate individuals, all while getting paid and earning money for college.
RMYCâs conservation-based crews partner with federal, state, tribal and local land managing agencies. Crew projects can include maintaining trails, erosion control, invasive species removal, forest restoration fire prevention activities, and more. Members of RMYC receive job-specific training and many other personal and professional development opportunities throughout the season.
Successfully completing a season requires commitment to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, and a willingness to promote a safe, productive, and inclusive environment while working with a team of peers.
