Offshore Marina, at Lake Powell Utah, located 8 miles from Bullfrog Marina is hiring for the following roles in our Marine Services operation.
Service Writer/Advisor- This role interacts with customers and Marine Technicians for service and repair ticket writing and sales for pleasure and house boats. Great verbal and written communication skills are required and previous experience in a similar field such as automotive or power sports service writing is strongly preferred.
Marine Parts Associate- This role orders and manages an inventory of Marine parts and interacts with customers and technicians in regard to parts for retail sales and service jobs. Strong communication, software and organizational skills are a must. Previous experience in a similar field of automotive, powersports or a similar technical parts field strongly preferred.
Boat Storage Clerk Associate- This role manages boat storage set up and billing for customers, inventories and sells available spaces and, assists in sales and service when needed. Experience in software, sales and strong verbal and written communication skills desired.
Wages vary DOE and role, but generally start around $12 an hour and can go up from there based on performance reviews and raises and an incentive plan being put into place based on sales amounts as individuals or as a team. Wages are typically below a National or "city" average, however we do offer lower cost housing to offset the lower wage set.
Housing cost ranges in cost from $250 a month for a single studio apartment to $400 a month for a 3 bedroom mobile home. Those fees go to pay utilities for the housing. Most of our employees make a decision to come here because of the lifestyle (rather than an economic decision) and are here for the location, and outdoors opportunities from the Lake to hiking, off roading and more. We do afford a lifestyle free of the problems facing modern/over crowded society and if you're the type of person that values that freedom, space, (lack of pollution, traffic, crime etc) then it's hard to beat the quality of living.
