We are looking for an experienced Designer/Showroom Sales to work with our customers to assist them in making product choices and then helping with design. We strive to always provide clear design advice while applying skills and expertise to help make the customers buying decision easier. This position is for a self- starter, well organized, creative person who is eager to create new business and provide outstanding customer service and follow-up.
Responsibilities:
Greeting customer on the sales floor and determining their wants and needs
Working with clients on their design goals
Quoting projects and closing sales
Working with project managers to ensure a successful project
Accurately placing and tracking orders for all of our products & services
Manage the full cycle of our projects, including follow -up after completion of job
Maintain pricing and merchandising for the showroom
Provide outstanding customer service
Following up in a timely and professional manner with customers on all requests or concerns
Job Requirements Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and selling Home projects. Retail sales experience and a degree in Interior Design is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years managing projects
Experience qualifying customer needs and wants for projects.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks programs and be willing to learn our operating system
Self-motivated and internally driven to excel in your position and career, with excellent time management skills
