About the Job
In this job you will be responsible for the timely, safe and efficient delivery of all products from our portfolio to both on premise and off premise accounts. You will be an expert on all of our products and uphold the level of customer service our distribution company requires. You will also rotate, stock and merchandiser product in some off-premise accounts. This is a non-exempt position running May-September.
Responsibilities
o Deliver beer safely and accurately to numerous accounts using delivery trucks and hand trucks.
o Maintain and enhance relationships with our existing accounts.
o Communicate any out of stock issues to the sales department.
o Accurately build loads for delivery routes.
o Remove any left-over product and trash from delivery trucks at the end of the day.
o Report problems with beer or draft equipment.
o Partner with maintenance to fix any issues with company vehicles.
o Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle.
o Assist in keeping the Chilly clean and organized.
o Accurately adjust customer invoices when needed.
o Weekly/daily rotation of shelf/backroom stock in accounts.
o Assist with building displays and place point of sale items when needed.
o Remove and report any out of date product.
o Be a positive representative of Ska Brewing at all times.
o Knowledge of products in our portfolio.
o Rotate, stock and merchandise product in certain accounts.
Our Ideal Candidate
o Must be 21 years of age or older.
o Knowledge of beer industry and draft systems desired.
o Basic math skills.
o Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and with minimal supervision.
o Repetitive lifting of up to 165 lbs., bending, pulling and pushing. Able to twist, turn, crouch, and squat repeatedly throughout the workday.
o Must have a clean driving record.
o Excellent understanding and appreciation of customer service.
o Must communicate well, work well with others and have a positive attitude.
o Must be able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
