We're looking for a dedicated DevOps Engineer to support our leading healthcare client in a role with full remote flexibility! Exciting opportunity to support hands-on engineering tasks along with leadership responsibilities.

This is a 12 month contract opportunity. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:
  • Work with delivery and DevOps teams to build release pipelines
  • Partner with Enterprise DevOps to design and implement CI/CD pipelines
  • Creating real-time monitoring, metrics and alerts across all applications
  • Develop deployment and automation tools
  • Build systems that dynamically scale
  • Plan Deployments for zero down-time
  • Collaborate with Enterprise and Program Release Management teams
  • Provide support to project and program leads; ensuring environment planning and delivery
  • Configure, support and troubleshoot automation tools
  • Participate in production deployment and planning activities
  • Review Production deployment plan and provide feedback and suggestions as applicable
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test and production environments
  • Communicates clearly with all levels of stakeholders to ensure deliverables are completed
  • Always look for ways for improving current DevOps process

Requirements of the DevOps Engineer:
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development and best practices
  • At least 3 years of experience with Python
  • Experience on an enterprise/shared DevOps team
  • Expertise in AWS
  • CI/CD - GitHub, Jenkins
  • Configuration management - Ansible
  • Highly skilled in Kubernetes
  • Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source tools and technologies
  • Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
  • Strong grasp of automation tools
  • Ability to code and script
