Position Description
CGI is seeking a highly motivated AWS ETL Engineer to serve as a key member of our software development team. This position can be located at any U.S. CGI office. Bloomfield, CT or Lafayette, LA are preferred locations.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Demonstrate your excellent technical analysis, software development skills using AWS ETL, AWS integration, your attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced development environment.
• Make decisions quickly in consultation with team members and domain experts.
• Display your strong functional analysis and abilities in finding quality technical solutions to business needs.
• Design and implement sophisticated ETL frameworks to provide a solution that meets business requirements on AWS Platform.
• Deliver Business or Enterprise Data for the various related platforms/servers/applications/systems and ensure adherence to Enterprise frameworks
• Elicit, analyze and understand business and data requirements to develop complete business solutions, including data models (entity relationship diagrams, dimensional data models), ETL and business rules, data life-cycle management, governance, lineage, metadata and reporting elements.
• Apply automation and innovation on new data platforms and ongoing on any new development projects / initiatives aligned to business or organizational strategies
• Implement processes aligned to data management standards and ensure data quality and data requirements are embedded in and adhered to within the system development standards.
• Collaborate with business and technology partners to elicit information/data requirement and articulate those requirements in a manner that can be easily understood by team members
• Provide support to the development and testing teams to resolve data issues
• Ensure requirements are captured in regard to privacy and security of data, data governance and access controls
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies including Terraform, Glue, Lambda, AWS EventBridge, CloudWatch, EC2, Secrets Manager, Redshift, S3, Teradata Vantage)
• Demonstrated ability in Python/Spark/Scala Development
• Strong hands-on ETL and SQL experience
• Understanding of AWS cloud and server-less architecture.
• Ability with writing solid AWS Lambda code.
• Understanding of Enterprise Integration patterns using AWS.

Desired Qualifications:
• Prior Healthcare Industry experience is a plus!
• AWS Certification
• Object-oriented languages: C, C, Java or any other OO compiled language
• Experience with Python, Spark & Scala
• Scripting languages: Java Script & Type Script
• Web development frameworks: Angular, React, Node.js, Django and Flask etc.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
