TechniArt, Inc. is a national retailer with an office space and warehouse in Farmington, CT. We work with local utility companies to teach their customers about energy efficiency and offer them energy-efficient products. We promote these products at our pop-up retail events held at businesses, festivals, and home shows.
TechniArt Inc. is seeking sales staff to help execute our pop-up retail events. We are looking for bright, outgoing people to help promote and sell energy efficient products. Candidates should be enthusiastic, organized, prompt, flexible and exhibit good communication skills and a professional attitude.
Work Schedule:
- Approximately 20-40 hours per week
- Generally between 8:00am 6:00pm
- Flexibility to work evening and weekend events
- Willingness to travel throughout appointed areas of CT & MA.
Job Qualifications:
- DOT Medical card will be required if hired
- Ability to drive 16ft and 24ft NON-CDL box truck
- Previous event/promotions experience preferred
- Previous retail/customer service experience is a plus
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Willing to engage with consumers, very outgoing
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Interest in working outside of an office environment
- Regular performance of hands-on warehouse work
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (products and event set up and take down)
- Able to stand for long periods of time (10 hours plus) and still be engaging and energetic
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to drive and park a rented box truck or cargo van (12ft & 16ft)
- Reliable transportation to our Farmington warehouse
Job Duties:
- Event set-up, break-down and execution
- Product promotion/demonstration
- One-on-one customer interaction
- Cashier duties
- Inventory distribution
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $13.00 /hour
