As the Trainer, you will educate staff, clients and business customers on industry standards and career pathways and provide expert knowledge and understanding of WIOA and JFES best practices, industry trends and governmental requirements.

Successful Elements:

Develop and manage training programs to educate staff, candidates and business customers on industry specific knowledge, including but not limited to, market data, trends, terms and requirements

Schedule training sessions based on the needs of staff, candidates and business customers

Design training curricula in compliance with government regulations and performance standards

Remain updated on industry knowledge by participating in trainings, community partner events, hiring events and research

Facilitate specialized workshops as needed

Train staff in the facilitation of specialized workshops, and ensure adequate resources are available to meet customer needs

Understand the needs of specialized populations and provide resources

Track the progress of trainings through assessments and discussions with Managers

Evaluate and assess technology-based learning resources and recommended upgrades, changes or new programs

Communicate approved recommendations to CWP team members for review

Attend community events and present on AJC services and activities

Manage multiple learning projects and share outcomes with leadership

Other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills

Bachelors degree or Associates degree, and three years of work experience in case management/human services or related experience

Able to interact with diverse individuals including those in specialized populations and demonstrate a positive professional attitude

Experience in a team-oriented environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
