Our client is seeking a

Mobile/Digital Solution Architect who will be an end to end solution architect who can innovate customer and agent experiences across interactions & journeys. They will work with application teams to design, develop, and implement applications to support business objectives and technology advancement. They will provides technical oversight to ensure that individual software projects adhere to the organization's business strategy, enterprise architecture, and application development methodologies. They will apply thought leadership in the areas of modernization, technology advancement, and application lifecycle management. They will provide highly technical consulting and leadership for software design, best practices, and development technologies and will advise organizational leaders on technical solutions and the technical talent of development teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Defines how customer interactions & journeys utilize multiple digital platforms into compound offerings.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor who inspires confidence through communication.
  • Provides innovative solutions and can convey the most complex concepts in the simplest of terms.
  • Presents complex solutions/ideas across all levels of participants and works in a team environment as both a leader and an individual contributor.
  • Identifies customer business and technology needs through relationship building with key stakeholders.
  • Acts as a customer advocate to ensure overall system usability and adoption
  • Assists with and advocates for user-testing methodologies as needed
  • Creates user journey flows, user stories, wireframes and mockups
  • Understands and educates others on current and emerging UX/UI trends.
  • Understands and educates others on best practices in CX as it applies to the customer experience, journey mapping, marketing, sales enablement, process, planning and analytics solutions
  • Understands business drivers and broad CX challenges across business functions that impact experiences
  • Designs application solutions and identifies design patterns with emphasis on reuse, scalability, performance, availability, and security.
  • Maintains and publishes graphical design diagrams and relevant architecture artifacts.
  • Understands the enterprise applications architecture design and development best practices. Applies these practices to solution designs and evangelizes them with development teams.
  • Mentors staff in application architectures and standards. Acts as a strategic thinker, thought leader, internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent for application architecture within development teams.
  • Works closely with the Enterprise Architecture area on design methodologies, design reviews, defining best practices, and contributes to conventions and strategies. Receives technical mentoring from the enterprise architecture area on how to apply strategic thinking and plan for the future state.
  • Works with delivery managers to balance rapid delivery of business solutions with sound technical solutions.
  • Advises delivery team leadership on technical solutions and on development team member competencies, skills, and overall productivity.
  • Assists with the technical evaluation of packaged business solutions and designs any required custom system integrations. Serves as a technical lead on proof of concepts in the domain of expertise.
  • Leads the technical evaluation of custom designed and developed business solutions. Understands and applies architecture guiding principles and patterns, identifies deviations, and proactively addresses gaps.
  • Defines performance stress testing requirements and assists with performance analysis and recommendations. Works closely with the QA team on the coordination of stress testing requirements, findings, and recommended changes.
  • Manages technology advancement of application dependent platforms, tools, and services.
  • Identifies gaps and proposes modernization opportunities and application lifecycle management efficiencies.
  • Assists with tier 2 application production issues and challenging issues in any phase of the development lifecycle. Supports continuous improvement by identifying and proposing tuning opportunities.
  • Act in an architecture role supporting agile teams using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Qualifications:
  • Experience in architecting and designing digital solutions across multi-platform and hybrid architectures, including on premise and cloud.
  • Understand the importance of digital trends such as customer 360, automation, content driven marketing, Customer engagement,

    API economy and Process automation
  • Experience with Solution, Business and Digital architecture methodologies, practices, and Governance.
  • Experience and understanding of UX best practices and standards to design and develop solutions for a mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Experience driving CX practices within a complex organization
  • Strategic leader with experience successfully driving transformation customer projects.
  • Understanding of application design methodologies and how to apply them to complex multi-tier systems
  • Knowledge of software development best practices
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Oriented Architecture (WOA)
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology, processes, business models and user behaviors
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in applications development, and 3 years of relevant architecture experience
  • Solid architecture/object-oriented design and development experience
  • Use of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) in high volume transactional environments and Web Oriented Architecture (WOA) for web based interfaces
  • Experience with web application platforms and programming environments
  • Strong knowledge of modern web technologies, patterns and practices
  • Experience with one or more major relational database platforms: SQL Server, Oracle, DB2
  • Experience acting as a technical lead through a development effort including collaboration with IT and business areas
  • In depth familiarity with development technology stacks, preferably .NET, .NET Core
  • Experience leading and influencing other technical leaders in the organization
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and the ability to communicate with audiences at varying technical levels
  • Experience collaborating with organizational leaders to build out multi-year technical visions
