The candidate should have 6-9 years of experience in Vertex and other Tax related applications.
A finance background is a must, with a focus on Direct and Indirect Taxes.
Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Vertex 8.0 and 9.0 O series and Vertex 4.0 Q series.
Able to configure new companies, product mapping, create new users, create transactions for jurisdictions in Vertex to check the taxability, add new customers/vendors in Vertex, etc.
Setup companies, configurations, product mapping, and other configurations in OneSource.
Validate the test scenarios by creating workbench invoices in OneSource.
Work with the client and understand the scenarios that need to be configured in OneSource and the configurations that need to flow from ERP.
Setup reports in OneSource.
Mandatory Skills:
Vertex 8.0 and 9.0 O series and vertex 4.0 Q series/Taxation.
