We are currently seeking to fill the following openings: Raw Bar Cook, Hot Line Cook and Pantry Cook.

Max Fish has a vibrant menu full of seafood creations and caters to the needs of our bustling lunch, dinner and happy hour crowds. Max Fish also has a heated, tented patio to cater to all of our guests and follow CDC guidelines.

Our Cooks prepare food that meets current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations by following established policies and procedures and ensures that safe and high quality food service is provided at all times. Preparation of all items needed for service, from chopping vegetables to making sauces and butchering meat, and may be asked to prepare items for another station or special event. Working the Raw Bar station is a fast paced station where our guests are able to watch the line cook shuck shellfish while plating the dishes for service. Experience is preferred for the raw bar but not required. Our Pantry Chef will focus on provided critical components of our signature dishes. The Hot Line Cook will assist chefs with ensuring food are cooked to our standard and created in a timely fashion to meet the needs of our guests. Ability to work in a kitchen with others and meet the needs of our guests is critical to our success. We are in need of a confident chef who is passionate about ability to meet the needs of the kitchen and provide the support required to maintain a smooth operating kitchen. All chefs will cross train to learn all stations within the kitchen to provide support and growth in the company.

The ideal candidate for this position has had prior experience in a food service setting as a line cook. Additional culinary training/coursework is a plus and preferred. Ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment while acting like a team player, assisting other departments as needed. Commitment to the customers, reliable to his or her co-workers, and be a self-motivated, organized, and detailed individual is a must. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, and behavior are all required for this position.
