Recreation Coordinator
Worthington Manor, 316 Berlin St., East Berlin, an assisted living center in seeks a director of social activities for our 42 unit center.
-Duties include:
Organizing daily activities for residents
-hosting/coordinating parties and events
-arranging entertainment
-providing a positive and fun atmosphere.
-Upbeat attitude and creativity is essential.
-Ability to interact and communicate with families of residents is a must.
-Must have experience working with/caring for the elderly
-Computer skills to generate calenders, newsletters necessary
-special talents a plus - music , crafts , ect.
-must love interacting with the elderly
-Part time hours, including some weekends, 20 to 30 hours per week
-Experience with dementia clients a plus.
This position requires related experience. TRD - therapeutic recreation director certificate a plus.
Opporunity for full time with other responsibilities.
