Tecta America New England, one of the largest and most respected roofing contractors in the north east is currently recruiting for a Full Time Office Administrator for our East Hartford, CT location. The ideal candidate should be well organized, detail oriented and possess a strong work ethic.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Handle a multi-line telephone system in a courteous and professional manner, routing calls to appropriate individual
Greet office guests and direct to proper person/department
Sort and distribute incoming mail. Prepare outgoing mail
Handle confidential, non-routine information, maintaining confidentiality with a high level of integrity
Perform general administrative functions related to payroll or accounting administration
Act as a direct resource to all levels of employees regarding payroll and benefits processes and procedures
Assist with the planning of meetings and conferences
Provide general administrative support for all departments such as binding, copying, filing and scanning
Maintain office and kitchen supplies
Responsible for office equipment (copiers, fax) operation and maintenance
Additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in a fast paced business environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
Strong organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive material at a professional level
Strong verbal communication skills
Demonstrate initiative and innovative thinking
Ability to handle a variety of tasks with minimal supervision
