Leasing Agent/Leasing Manager Needed For Local Property Management Company:
Essential Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including but not limited to, incoming traffic, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork and completing move in paperwork.
- Responds to a large volume of phone and email inquiries, following up with maintenance requests, handling or escalating resident complaints.
- Greets prospects, assess needs, tours apartments, collects deposits, rent payments, process applications, prepares and reviews lease agreements and answers all questions related to the communities.
- Frequently showing apartments in the West Hartford, Hartford and the Greater Hartford Area.
-Maintains courteous communication and follow up correspondence with residents, applicants and prospects.
-Completes marketing advertising activities at the direction of the property manager. Reviews social media websites and ensures online reputation management.
-Assists with residents retention.
Required skills:
- Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and /or situations.
-Professional verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong ability to close a sale.
-Strong attention to detail, organizational time management and problem solving skills.
-Detail oriented.
-Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
Required Experience:
-Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or sales.
-Previous leasing experience preferred.
-Experience using Yardi or other related property management software preferred.
