CT Plumbers, Pipefitters, & Sheetmetal workers
Advanced Sheetmetal Associates, LLC a well established and growing full service Commercial / Industrial Mechanical Contractor is seeking full time applicants for the following positions to join our motivated and growing team. Applicants must have a valid drivers license and an OSHA 10 certification;
⢠Plumbing apprentices with at least 2 years experience
⢠Pipefitter apprentices with at least 2 years experience
⢠Sheetmetal apprentices with at least 2 years experience
⢠CT licensed plumbers and pipefitters with at least 3 years of experience
⢠CT licensed sheetmetal workers with at least 3 years experience.
⢠Sheetmetal shop fabricator / welder.
Applicants must be able to perform the following tasks:
⢠Carry material -- primarily metal in various shapes and sizes up to 59 lbs a distance of 100 ft
⢠May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, and use fingers and hands to use objects, tools, or controls.
⢠Work in an inside/outside environment
⢠Operate machinery
⢠Utilize a mechanical aptitude
⢠Use hand tools
⢠Perform housekeeping and maintain a clean work area
⢠Follow all safety instructions
⢠Perform math -- arithmetic, geometry, and feet/inches conversion
⢠Working overtime if required by company
Applicants must have the following:
⢠Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
⢠Ability to communicate effectively
⢠Ability to work well within a team environment
⢠Strong attention to detail
⢠Must be able to read/write in English
⢠Must be able to understand written and verbal directions
