Western Express is currently looking for a Parts & Inventory Manager at our Plainfield, CT maintenance facility. This would be a Monday - Friday position from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Must have experience with parts or inventory. A brief job description is below:
- Ordering, Receiving and Managing our tractor and trailer parts inventory
- Responsible and Accountable to all Inventory
- Perform and manage Weekly Cycle Counts, Monthly and Quarterly Inventory Audits
- Handing out parts to technicians and drivers
- Using reporting to identify slow-move parts and ordering frequently used parts
- AS400 experience is a plus but not required
- Reports to the Facility Service Manager
This is a full-time position, benefits are available to include medical, dental and vision. Fidelity 401(k) is available.
