Position OverviewAs Marketing Manager you will contribute to the marketing strategy, manage external partners, and develop marketing content and campaigns to create demand and awareness for our Client. As the main point of contact for marketing, you will bring a passion for demand marketing as well as well-rounded marketing skills, excel in several marketing disciplines, and wear multiple marketing hats. Working closely with the Senior VP of Sales & Marketing, you will manage the overall marketing function, test marketing channels, manage the website, and direct agency partners involved in SEO, content creation, and web development.
Responsibilities

Strategy:
  • Execute the marketing strategy to build brand awareness, drive demand, and deepen and expand customer relationships

Demand:
  • Develop demand campaigns spanning a variety of marketing channels to achieve sales and business objectives
  • Lead the execution of demand campaigns, managing budget and vendors, setting objectives, audience segments, messaging, performance, and reporting

Content Marketing:
  • Collaborate with company subject matter experts, sales, and leadership to identify topics that are relevant to target audiences
  • Write content as well as partner with freelancers and agencies to produce assets and determine the best places to deploy them

Reporting:
  • Establish a data-driven marketing culture, testing and learning quickly, and building comprehensive reports to track and optimize performance

Other Responsibilities:
  • Expand current client relationships, launch new products and services, and manage budgets
Job Requirements
  • 5+ years B2B, professional services marketing experience
  • A bachelor degree in marketing, communications or related degree and work experience
  • Experience managing external partners including SEO/SEM, freelance writers, and graphic designers
  • In-depth understanding of the marketing function including demand marketing, web marketing, customer journey KPIs
  • Data-driven yet creative thinking and an affinity for fast-paced work environment
  • Exceptional written, organizational, and verbal communication skills; avid storyteller
  • Ability to build cross-functional partnerships, manage up, and escalate appropriately
  • High-energy, extremely flexible, and can-do positive attitude
  • Previous work experience as a marketing manager in a B2B environment is ideal
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Creative mind-set with the ability to conceive interesting ideas and new approaches to establish successful outcomes
  • Proven experience of MS Office
  • Basic technical knowledge of web publishing a plus
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills

Compensation:
