This person is responsible for carrying out tasks supportive and complimentary to nursing practice by providing direct patient care to child and adolescent/adult and geriatric psychiatric patients, as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team.. Exceptional Patient Care : Assists in creating a therapeutic milieu for the treatment of behavioral health patients. Plan for and participate in therapeutic interventions for behavioral health patient population. Admission procedure that includes orientation to the unit, safety check of all patient belongings, and obtains vital signs.

Technical Familiarity: Understanding in the computer-based applications (email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office).

Active Teamwork : Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.

​Requirements :

Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, in Psychology, Human Services or related field.

Certification: AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers. NCI Certification will be required.

Experience: Experience in mental health/behavioral health is strongly preferred.

Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
