After School Program Director for Worthington Hooker School PTA K-8
Worthington Hooker PTA is seeking an experienced professional to help run our amazing after school program. Our program has been successfully run for over 8 years by our incredible staff and parent PTA volunteers. The program has grown over the last few years and we are now in a position to hire the right person to direct our after school program.
The After School Program serves more than 100 students in grades K-8 at our two school buildings. The program has grown to include numerous enrichment activities including dance, language and sports.The director will split their time between the two school buildings ensuring the smooth operation of the program and coordinating the enrichment programs.
The duties will include:
Supervising staff
Communicating with parents
Managing enrichment programs
Administering website/billing system
Working closely with the PTA
Must be on-site 2:45-5:30 pm M-F (with more hours at the beginning of each session)
Qualifications:
Child care and Management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
First Aid training and familiarity with CT licencing rules are a plus
