ASSA ABLOY Americas Division implements and maintains Oracle's J.D. Edwards (JDE) E1 9.x ERP applications. We are currently in the process of implementing JDE across all of our business units in the Americas Division : North, Central and South America.

The JDE Distribution Business Analyst will report to the JDE Program Director. This role will coordinate the development and documentation of consolidated divisional standard operating procedures for supply chain in JDE, and then drive the implementation of these standards while working as a part of the various JDE implementation and production support project teams.

Additional responsibilities include :

Lead our divisional initiative to implement consolidated and consistent standard operating procedures for supply chain in JDE.

Work within the JDE implementation and support projects as a supply chain functional lead and subject matter expert, driving the implementation tasks for supply chain (Procure to Pay, Inventory Management) across multiple concurrent projects.

Work with and provide support to local resources and external consultants assigned to specific project teams to follow divisional standards, delegating tasks as needed and as required.

Provide functional support for prototyping, development, user testing; assisting user training.

Participate as required in the analysis of business requirements and the development of specifications.

Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the business processes supported by the JDE solution.

Research special topics as required as part of team or project responsibilities.

Develop and nurture consensus and working relationships with all enterprise applications teams and with other business and IT teams;

engender a positive, collaborative work environment for the team.

Develop and maintain appropriate documentation.

Requirements :

Proficiency in supply management related functions; 4 year or graduate level college degree, relevant experience.

Experience with multi-national, multi-currency, implementations, particularly Latin America.

Deep knowledge of all JD Edwards modules that affect supply management.

The ability to gather requirements from various users, write specifications that can be used by developers, test results and communicate changes to users.

Proven functional expertise with supply management production support in JD Edwards ERP-software implementations.

Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills; customer focused and a team player.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment; ability to stay focused on responsibilities and meet deadlines;

must perform in a high exposure, dynamic, and time-sensitive environment and be able to lead change.

Ability to present ideas in business friendly and user friendly language; demonstrated aptitude for working with, supporting, and communicating with users.

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, shared-services environment, across multiple divisions with a variety of operating environments, application software, tools and technologies.

Position requires travel, varying from 20-80% within the continental US and Canada, as well as Central and South America.

Additional skills desired :

Exposure to and / or experience with distribution in an environment using the JDE configurator module.

Exposure to and / or experience with supply management in an environment using E2Open supplier portal.

Some background and understanding of operational processes in a manufacturing environment.

Has or will quickly acquire construction industry and product knowledge.

A background in lean manufacturing and an understanding of the lean toolsets and processes that drive efficiency and profitability.

Excellent English language skills, Spanish speaking skills highly desired.

Experience with using MS SQL; ability to write SQL queries.

Exposure to DSI dcLINK data collection, Gentran EDI Software, SAP Business Objects, Cognos, Docpath / JetForms forms printing, imaging systems (TransformAP), and credit card collection systems.
