BUSINESS ANALYST -DATA ANALYSIS –
CBI - Corporate Business Improvement

Job Summary
Provides direction, oversight and support to the CBI Consultant team and internal customers in support of corporate initiatives that result in business enhancements and operational efficiencies across the enterprise. Leads the following engagement activities and outcomes: engagement initiation, best practice research, current state assessment, data analysis, solution design and recommendations, implementations and post-implementation review. Mentors and coaches the CBI Consultants.

Responsibility
1. Lead and manage large scope modernization and operational initiatives.
2. Provide

planning, consulting and facilitation support to major improvement implementations. Assists and participates in major business enhancements and operational improvement initiatives. Collaborates with stakeholders, collects, synthesizes and analyzes data; formulates recommendations; executes projects; writes reports; presents findings and recommendations.
3. Work closely with workflow and automation user departments to develop and implement suggestions that can enhance workflows to achieve efficiencies and best practices. Serves as primary point of contact for vendors as needed
4. Provide and prioritize topic areas for best practice and modernization research initiatives.









Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Knowledge of

process mapping, data analysis
· Experience working as a

Functional, Data or Business Analyst
· Knowledge and experience in the insurance industry preferred
· Customer interface experience – engagement, customer presentation, project oversight
· Familiar with Lean Six Sigma methodology
· Strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment
· Functions with a high degree of independence – can identify, analyze and evaluate needs and problem solve
· Ability to accept change easily and acts as a change agent

Systems/Technical Knowledge:
· AWD, Ingenium, Life70, Serena, WebFocus, PCX – nice to have or similar
· Experience with Personal Productivity Software, Business Process Modeling


Education and Experience Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT

Experience: 3+ years as process designer/engineer

Licensing/Certification: Lean Six Sigma or comparable certification preferred
