Position: Seeking an experienced, energetic, detail-oriented and motivated dental insurance coordinator for a full-time dental insurance billing / front desk position. Our office is highly professional and fast-paced. We’re looking for a candidate that shares our passion for delivering a very high standard of professional customer service not found at most dental offices.
Hours:
Mon, Tue, Thu: 9am-6pm
Wed: 10am-7pm
Fri: 8am – 1pm
One Sat a month: 8am – 1pm
Responsibilities:
- Dental insurance verification, creating insurance breakdowns and accurately calculating patient co-pays
- Following-up on unpaid insurance claims
- Entering insurance checks/posting payments into patient accounts
- Sending statements and collecting unpaid balances
- Sending appointment text reminders
- Providing all aspects of customer service at the front desk: checking patients in and out, collecting payment, scanning and entering patient paperwork details, answering phones, making appointments, recalls, jumping in to help colleagues whenever needed, etc.
Requirements:
Polished and professional oral and written communication (grammatical correctness is essential)
Excellent phone skills, math skills and quick thinking
Must be able to multitask, stay organized, pay high attention to detail and problem-solve
Experience with dental insurance verification/ billing and front desk responsibilities
Tech-savvy and familiar with Word, Excel, Outlook and iPhone/Mac Computer (for texting appointment reminders)
This is NOT a remote position nor can it be outsourced. Applicants must be physically present and able to report to work daily in our office in Connecticut. Applicants located in other areas need not apply.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Eaglesoft
Salary is commensurate with experience.
