We are looking for a part time 20 hours/week PCA to care for an older man with cerebral palsy at his home in Wallingford. Man is severly disabled with cerebral palsy, nonverbal and uses a wheelchair.
Man has severe disability and a big part of this position is someone with the physical strength to be able to assist with lifting him/transferring him to a motorized lift.
Position is Monday-Friday 9am-1pm and is somewhat flexible in the hours, you may want to work some days 9-12 and other days longer, but it is 20 hours a week total. Please do NOT apply if you are looking for more hours. Please respond with a resume and reference or you will not be considered.
Duties include:
Getting client out of bed using a motorized lift
Assistance with bathing twice per week
Assistance with toileting, dressing
Preparing lunch, Feeding client lunch and clean up
Doing clients laundry and changing bed sheets
Occasional duties may also include light cleaning, cooking, errands.

$14.75 per hour.
