Our mission is to build a just and equitable society and the diverse leadership to sustain it.
We are seeking young adults from diverse backgrounds who are ready to embrace a lifetime commitment to social justice and building a stronger Connecticut.
As an Ally, you'll participate in training, service days and retreats to enhance your ability to make positive change. You'll strengthen your networking, collaboration, communication, and project management skills through participation in a Team Service Project. You'll also gain valuable on-the-job experience through your local non-profit Placement where you could work to make a difference in the lives of students, families, refugees, veterans, and others affected by issues stemming from poverty.
Benefits for our members include a living stipend up to $22,500, free basic health insurance, child care assistance (if applicable) and a $6,495 AmeriCorps Education Award for each of our program graduates. In addition, individuals completing the program gain access to our National Alumni Network to further accelerate your career post-Service.
