Currently hiring for full time licensed CT Sheet Metal Mechanics! The mechanic will be responsible for on-site fabrication as needed and installation of commercial duct work, working in a team setting, and following all building and safety codes. We will provide on-site and classroom training as necessary.
Position Responsibilities
Read and interpret commercial duct layout and plans
Work in a crew of journeymen and/or apprentice level mechanics to keep production to a maximum
Hanging flex, spiral, fiberboard, flex, metal duct
Installing duct hangers, uni-strut, and wire
Working safely off of aerial lifts and ladders
Tactical demolition of existing duct and units
Qualifications
Valid CT SM-2 or SM-1 license, required
OSHA 10, required
Possess basic trade hand tools necessary for Sheet Metal Mechanics
