Are you struggling to pass the Math portion of your Connecticut Praxis Exam?
Are you having trouble with your summer Chemistry course?
I have over 30 years experience teaching Chemistry and Math, and am a professional tutor during the school year.
If these subjects are hard for you, it's often because you have some gaps in your background, or you don't know where to start. For example, can you solve these problems in your head?
What is the sum of 4/9 and 2/7?
What is 2/3 divided by 3/9?
For the equation, pV=nRT, solve for R
If these don't come easily to you, you could probably benefit from working with a tutor who can identify the holes in your background, and help you fix them. A tutor can also help you figure out which are the most important things to study (after all, there is so much to go over), and answer that most important question, "Where do I start?"
I have a lot of experience tutoring students with anxiety (which is pretty much everyone who comes to a tutor), and with learning disabilities.
