Personal Care Assistant- Full-time Available
A family is looking for a PCA (Personal Care Assistant) for our son with special needs. This position will include some in-home care as well as traveling care for community and transition activities.
Job Responsibilities include:
Assisting with light exercise, supporting with computer work, providing assistance with school and home projects, helping in daily living activities (ie..transfers, communication, feeding), aiding us in community activities (ie...on line classes, movies, outings, walking, going to the gym etc..), assisting with communication needs- using high and low tech (training provided)
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
Experience working with young adults and children.
Good physical health and fitness
Must have own transportation and valid driver's license
Patience is a plus
Motivated and willing to learn (training will be provided)
Positive outlook
Basic Computer skills
Good sense of humor is a plus.
Position is ideal for people interested in the areas of education and health care
Full time position available starting immediately (training provided) = GOOD PAY WITH BENEFITS
Part time hours also AVAILABLE!!!
Pay commensurates with experience.
