Western Express is a large tiered trucking company based out of Nashville, Tn, operating 3,000 tractors and 7,000 trailers. We are currently looking to fill the position of tire technician out of our Plainfield, CT service center. This will be a Monday â Friday position from 7am to 3:30pm, working inside our shop and outside on the lot. Tire experience is a plus, we will train for the position as well.
Job Description:
- Mounting/Dismounting loose tires
- Working with foreman and parts manager on tire stocking and availability
- Installing and Removing tires off tractors/trailers on lot
- Matching tires to tread depth and pattern
- PSI checks
- Equipment tire checks and fleet inspections
